Happy Days 02:45
Lemon cake, ice cream. Butterscotch, banana peel Wiggles likes bananas, and Fafaf just likes licking icecream I’ve got Christina and Zach today, And they’re round at my house and they’re ready to play We went out to see my friend Ema on a happy spring day We went out to the park on a really hot day in may In the park with my friends today Eating ice cream and cake, with a large lemonade We wrote a song in the springtime My best friend, Fafaf, and me In the studio room. Where the sun shines on And we’re singing this brand new song So take the time to sing along And then we can party all day (long) In the studio room, till the sunshine’s gone But the candle keeps burning on Lemon cake, ice cream. Butterscotch, banana peel Wiggles likes bananas, and Fafaf just likes licking icecream (repeat till end)

Run daddy run, run Ema run, Run for your life, the werewolf is coming Hide in the trees, hide in the grass, just run for the cottage behind you Should we stay here, hide from the witch, or should we go out and hide in the sticks? If we stay here, we might be found, by Hoodoo the witch or Howard the hound High in the trees far from the wolf, I’m missing a shoe and lost in the woods Here comes the rain, I slip to the ground, missing a shoe and sneaking around A pain in my foot I let out a cry, a voice on the wind makes me look down I see those eyes, hey who are you? My name’s Pixie. How do you do?? That’s my shoe, Pixie Cantaloupe. You can’t live there, it belongs on my foot. We’re just trying to hide from the wolf And the old wicked witch....Howard and Hoodoo Can you sing that song you like ‘bout the forest we found, by the moon in the sky Just gotta hide away from the witch’s eyes Way up in the tree’s overhead But STOP! STOP! HEY!!!! What did you find? Look over there!!! .........It’s Pixie Cantaloupe, and all of her friends Grab my shoe and turn to you and say...... Let’s not ever go out and do that again Next time lets just stay at home with our friends That’s our song about Pixie Cantaloupe.... Now this is the end... WHOO HOO WHOO HOO WHOO HOO....

Friendship 04:26
People we trust, people we care for, people we love That makes friendship People we love, people we care for, people we trust That makes friendship What about candy canes, chocolates and angel delight? What about fluffy pyjamas, and warm treats for dinner at night? With our family, and our friends, coz true friendship everyone knows never ends People we love, people we care for, people we trust That makes friendship People we trust, people we care for, people we love That makes friendship What about sleepover’s, play dates and talking all night? What about pancakes for breakfast we made by the bonfire last night? What about riding our bikes in the park? We could put on our coats and ride fast in the dark! With only the moonlight to light up our way.... We’ll cycle right through to the day Where we’ll see.... People we trust, people we care for, people we love That makes friendship People we love, people we care for, people we trust That makes friendship Instrumental Section Super Song Sunday’s the very best day of the week I write songs with my Fafaf, then break time for cookies and treats We write words in our notebook for songs that we make With bright coloured pens so we always remember, The songs we sing are for..... People you love People you care for People you trust That’s what friendship means.....

A picture postcard, the moons in shadow at night I’ll send it off to my friend to see if she’s alright I’ll send it off right now, and it’ll reach her in the morning I put the letter in the postbox, to send it to you A dandelion with a postman’s bag, and his big white hat To deliver the sun and the moon and the stars ‘till the flowers bloom (chorus) x2 When do you think, the sun will come on out to play In a cold Scottish winter, it never has that much to say Ding dong, Spring has come Dandelions bring it on The postman’s brought his son along We’ll be singing ‘till the springtime comes, and The postman brings a new season, and Dalmatian’s and dandelions are coming out to play There’s a breeze in the park today, and Makes the dandelion’s swing and sway, and All the seeds just blow away, blow away, hey hey hey!!! Her little nose twitches away While the music starts to play She sits quietly and listens to the family say Wiggy, what’d you wanna eat? A grape or banana for a treat? So lets go outside, but stay right here....stay right here I wish you both hadn’t gone away I wish you both were here today ‘cause I miss you, I miss you I met you both on Xmas day Cosy and warm but hidden away On a winters day.....a winters day....a winters day There’s so many places I’ve been But I’d rather be here with you I remember how you cuddled and played Out in the garden, skippin’ away Waiting for the sun but hiding from the pouring rain There was a time, a friend said hello Orlando the cat, but Wiggy said NO!!! You up and scurried away Under a dress, the rest of the day! There’s so many places I’ve been Cuba, Japan.....Portugal, by the beach I’d still rather be here with you There’s so many lost souls, in the world tonight But it’s just how it feels, when the world isn’t right So play that old love song for anyone listening So now you’re gone, the sky lights up, a new bright star You’ll always show me where you are Xmas is coming ‘round again The first without my dearest friend But I’ll still play those Xmas songs for you So hey there, Wiggy, twitchin’ your nose My gift to you a bright red rose But hey, wherever you are You’re my twinkling star You got love in your heart So dream big from the start When the thing you want is so far So it’s up to you.........what would you say? It’s a living thing It’s a breathing thing You’re the only one to make you strong enough, to take the arrow’s wounds

about

Update: Evie is now 9 years old and together we've written 7 new songs over the last year and a half-ish. Sh'e learning and progressing all the time but also, and most importantly, having fun creating music. There is more music to come and we already have a new song in the works. Lets rock!!!

Hi everyone. Over the last few months I have been writing songs with my wee pal, Evie. She is 8 years old, 7 when we started writing these songs, and is my son Brett's little sister. We started out doing music sessions together, just having fun and playing some drums or piano or synth and even a little bit of uke. Then one day she noticed a discarded line from the song I wrote for her 6th birthday at the start of the pandemic, Evie It's Just A Summer's Day. The line I didn't use from the end section was "Lemon Cake, Ice Cream, Butterscotch, Banana Peel". She thought this was hilarious and I suggested turning it into a new song? She was instatly on board and excited and so we set about writing more words together. I think this is where we started making the best use of these sessions and was what I'd hoped to do from the start. Anyway. the first one was a blast and Evie was clearly into it so we just kept going. These are what we've made so far and there will be more to come!
